RECORD STORES
We are lucky to be in the company of FIVE other record stores between Beverly and Salem! If you’re an avid record collector, you need to check all of us out. There’s only a little overlap in the Venn diagram of all five stores, so you should be able to find whatever you’re looking for!
Soundtracks - Shop owner and internationally-recognized DJ 7L (Czarface) combines his interests of music and film with a handpicked selection of records both new & used at his new shop, Soundtracks, which is located just up the street from us at 265 Cabot St in Beverly.
Beverly Coin & Estate Shop - Don't let the name fool you - this is where you go to find rare, vintage vinyl and I'm probably breaking an unwritten rule of the North Shore by sharing this hidden gem of a shop. Beverly Coin is located just up the street from us at 38 Rantoul St and you could easily spend hours finding gold here. Happy hunting!
Big Fun Records - The latest addition to the North Shore vinyl scene, Big Fun specializes in jazz, soul/funk, experimental/avant-garde, and more…
Residency Records (Salem, MA) - Check out the new Residency Records location at 7 1/2 Church St in Salem. Owner Breaux Silcio's new space is about 5 times larger than his original space near the Satanic Temple, where the store operated for the last 4 years, and is now one of the largest independent record stores in Massachusetts.
The Record Exchange (Salem, MA) - The Record Exchange is one of the oldest used brick-and-mortar record stores in the United States, founded in Salem in 1974. This is a great place to find some rare gems.
