Cave In LIVE at Bridge Nine Warehouse on Friday, July 7th

Cave In is a band close to our hearts here in Boston. Not only did they get their start in Methuen, MA, but they were originally signed to Hydra Head, one of the labels that Bridge Nine shared a space with at the original 'Initech' office near Fenway Park!

Just over a year ago, Cave In used our then-unfinished warehouse space to record the music video for the song "Reckoning" off their album Heavy Pendulum, released on Relapse Records.

Next Friday (7/7), they're bringing things full circle and doing us the honor of performing for the third event in our B9 warehouse series! We're excited to welcome you to come and share this experience with us.

ATTENDANCE IS FREE, BUT LIMITED. You will be able to reserve your spot starting today by coming to our storefront in Beverly, MA during normal hours while supplies last. Tickets are non-transferrable.

Doors are at 7 PM, performance starts at 8 PM.

Don't Stand In Line Season 1 Episode 4 Now Streaming On Youtube

We are excited to announce that Episode 4 of the first season of the six-episode docu-series Don’t Stand In Line is now streaming on Youtube, and you can watch it HERE!

When the Raid The Archive box was announced, all five vinyl releases contained within remained a mystery and we vowed to not say what was inside. Just that if you liked Bridge Nine’s output in the mid-2000s, that this would be up your alley. With the label having to make the tough move from our old office into our new space, this was designed to help us weather the storm. Thankfully, the boxes were a hit, and the feedback was great. One of the records was pressed in a different quantity than the rest, so it threw off our ability to finish the boxes. So, we’ve broken them out and they’re now available for individual sale, while supplies last! If you grabbed a box originally and now want the other color of a record, now’s your chance! Bridge Nine's First Official Record Store Day & Indie Label Market A Success

Bridge Nine Records celebrated its first ever Record Store Day as an actual record store this past Saturday, April 22nd, and also with the label’s first ever official Record Store Day release. Agnostic Front released “United Blood (The Extended Sessions)”, a 19-song LP version of their original 10-song EP from 1983. We pressed 3,000 copies on clear vinyl and it was amazing to hear from so many other stores that this record was the only other record that sold out that day besides Taylor Swift. This was a great way to commemorate 40 years of United Blood.

The Bridge Nine store opened early at 10 am to a line of RSD supporters and the store quickly filled with excited shoppers. An indie label market, featuring local labels from the New England area, also took place in the store’s back warehouse. Participating labels were X-Claim! Records, Counter Intuitive Records, Crimewave Records, Tor Johnson Records, Sound Investment Records, Hellhound Publishing, and Iodine Recordings.

The market featured lots of other vendors and organizations from the punk community. Al Quint of Suburban Voice, an avid record collector and seller, set up shop with some awesome titles for sale. Women Of The Pit, a charity based organization established to highlight and promote bands and fans of the hardcore music scene, was also in attendance promoting their first compilation, Stronger Together Vol. 1, featuring various female led punk and hardcore bands. The team behind Hope Fest, a yearly benefit music festival that takes place in Salem each year, was also onsite to promote their September 2nd festival in support of nAGLY. Larry Kelley displayed items from the late Lexa Vonn, an activist, fashion designer and music memorabilia collector. Local educator and author Nancy Barile was onsite with her awesome book, I’m Not Holding Your Coat. And Al Barile, Jaime Sciarappa, and Chris Foley of SSD hung out for a few hours, telling stories and sharing memories.

Needless to say, it was an incredible day and the Bridge Nine team is grateful for a few hundred of our supportive customers coming through and all our amazing vendors. Vinyl roars back on Record Store Day

“At Bridge Nine Records in Beverly, proprietors of the shop, which began as and continues to be a record label, are kicking out the jams for RSD 2023.

The day will feature the label’s release of a 40th anniversary expanded edition of legendary New York hardcore band Agnostic Front’s “United Blood” EP.

The extended version is a remaster of the original EP, as well as previously unreleased versions of the band’s earliest and classic recordings. Bridge Nine is also inviting other independent record labels to set up tables in its warehouse for a RSD market to sell vinyl and merchandise and network. BHC on WBZ, Colin & the Boston Hardcore "Bad Kids" T-Shirt

Hardcore rarely makes the news, but the viral WBZ News Radio reporter, Matt Shearer, visited Brockton, MA this past weekend and met none other than local legend Colin Campbell (Colin of Arabia, Gatekeeper Jam). Colin invited him to experience the hardcore scene at Badlands Hall with a show featuring Fiddlehead (ex-Have Heart), Angeldust, and Drug Church. With Colin's blessing, we took his description of hardcore and memorialized it in a shirt: "All the bad kids from class together doing bad kid stuff." Bridge Nine x Linas Garsys (American Nightmare, Hope Conspiracy, AFI) Skull T-Shirt Re-Issue

For Friday the 13th, we've dug into the t-shirt vault and brought back one of our favorites, this blood-spattered Bridge Nine t-shirt illustrated by none other than Linas Garsys (American Nightmare, The Hope Conspiracy, AFI). Linas was an early contributor to Bridge Nine's visual look through several of our album covers (American Nightmare's The Sun Isn't Getting Any Brighter, Cops & Robbers Execution Style, Striking Distance The Fuse Is Lit), as well as probably a dozen different t-shirt designs, many featuring his trademark blood spattering. Originally released in 2002 and briefly available with a slightly different design in 2013, we're bringing this skull design back for a limited time, printed on a black Gildan Hammer tee and in true early-2000s spirit, a black Independent Trading Post brand zip-up sweatshirt. On Monday, November 28, 2022, we were lucky enough to have War On Women stop by for our first in-store event. The band hung out with some fans and played a few acoustic songs; the full video, shot by Bill Fulkerson of OTC Industries Productions, is above and features songs “White Lies”, “Big Words”, and “Silence Is The Gift”.

The band left to kick off their East Coast tour with Cancer Bats at the Middle East in Cambridge that evening and sounded incredible. Be sure to check them out if they come through your city! Bridge Nine Records NOW OPEN In Beverly, Massachusetts

Bridge Nine is proud to announce that we have opened our new flagship retail store at 282 Rantoul Street in Beverly, Massachusetts. Just 35 minutes north of Boston, this former 1930s-era car dealership-turned-glass-company has been painstakingly renovated over the past 18 months to turn an old drab showroom into a beautiful modern boutique to showcase our label and the music that we love. In addition to Bridge Nine, we are sharing this space with Sully’s Brand, the Boston-centric apparel brand founded in 2000 by B9 founder Chris Wrenn. To raise the money needed to push his bands, Chris ventured to the Fenway neighborhood with his roommates and members of the bands that he was promoting to sell the stickers and t-shirts that helped fuel the biggest rivalry in baseball between Boston and New York. Every dollar earned was invested in recording new albums, pressing vinyl records, buying plane tickets and vans for bands to tour the world in, helping put the Boston music scene and the Bridge Nine label on the map. Their effort was so successful that it became a second business, and Sully's was born.

Bridge Nine Records (Beverly, MA) Grand Opening on 9/10/22

Almost a year and a half after we started gutting an old car dealership-turned-glass-company to be the new home of Bridge Nine Records and Sully’s Brand, we are pleased to finally announce that we will be opening to the public on Saturday, September 10th at 11 am! Please join us in celebrating what has been the wildest project we’ve ever taken on! We’ll have new pressings of vinyl and apparel that will be available for the first time. Getting Here

Our new store is 35 minutes north of Boston. If you're driving, there is plenty of street parking available along Rantoul Street and the first 20 minutes are FREE to park. You can also take the Newburyport commuter rail from North Station to Beverly. Beverly is the 5th stop out from North Station, however, they're doing work throughout September on the rails so check the MBTA website for any travel updates.

What is Sully's Brand?

For those who don't know, Chris Wrenn originally started Sully’s Brand as a way to fund the release of records on Bridge Nine. This led to a decades-old tradition of hardcore/punk musicians selling ‘Yankees Suck’ & “Believe In Boston” merch after Sox games. Now in its 22nd year, Sully’s Brand has become a beloved New England institution and its trademarked slogan Believe In Boston has brought New Englanders together on more than one occasion. Sully's Brand helps locals represent their favorite Boston teams, with our line of supersoft vintage-style tees, hoodies, banners, glassware, gifts and more!

Aram Arslanian (Champion, Betrayed), in addition to serving as President & CEO of his leadership coaching company Cadence Leadership, also hosts an awesome podcast called One Step Beyond. The podcast is a weekly business and education series focusing on transformation through leadership. Cave In Films Music Video for New Song "Reckoning" at B9HQ

Last month we welcomed CAVE IN to the new Bridge Nine headquarters when they reached out looking for a warehouse to shoot a video for their new song "Reckoning". On the day of the shoot, I got to surprise singer Stephen Brodsky with a copy of his old fanzine, which he had sent me back in 1997. The fanzine featured an interview with BANE, whose bassist Peter Chilton just so happened to be the music video's creative producer/editor. This moment and the overlap that exists between artists was exactly what I love about the hardcore community! The video came out awesome and features projections from esteemed artist Thomas Hooper.
